Yesterday and today SOLOMON and I went to
Wal-Mart. Yesterday was nice, but today was great. SOLOMON is finally learning how to walk beside me without pulling. Yesterday I rewarded him every fourth or fifth step for not pulling. Today was even better. Today was the first day that I noticed him settling down (a little bit) and saying "oh, this again" instead of being
sooo excited at every smell. Today I rewarded SOLOMON every sixth or seventh step for not pulling-a very nice improvement. I know this sounds tedious, but progress in training happens in small
incremental steps. We also went to the Carolina Mall. Again, he did quite well. There was one lady who walked by that he was totally intrigued by and he pulled towards, but then he remembered what he was supposed to do and got right back in line. It is so nice to see SOLOMON visibly relax when he's working in a public area!
