I have to hand it to my boy, SOLOMON. He really is trying hard to walk nicely. The last few days we've gone to the mall-the big mall: Concord Mills at about 2:30. The train is running (yes, there's a train for kids that runs indoors), the the giggly pre-teen girls are done with school, shopping and running past us, little kids are playing in the playland. All I can say is that it's all kinds of chaos. SOLOMON is still at the stage where he is VERY interested and wants to watch the action, but he also wants to get rewarded for doing the right thing. He has figured out that if he walks so that his side is touching my leg, he can still watch the activity :) His creativity cracks me up. About 80% of the time he is paying attention and if he feels me move away from his leg, he is checking back. The only problem is that I trip on him since he's leaning on my leg to keep tabs on me. Ah well, we'll find the right balance!! I think with Erin's wheelchair, he can lean against it all he wants and he won't trip her and he'll still be able to feel when she's moved away. We're definetly progressing in the right direction. Three cheers for SOLOMON!
