Camden's visit to Touchstone Therapy

Last week I got CAMDEN, my next dog-in-training. As I mentioned before, CAMDEN will be Alex's service dog. CAMDEN is with me to finish up his public access training and then he will be transferred to the Crisps. Last week was really hectic for CAMDEN. He was taken from Hazleton, stayed with Terry for a couple days, transferred to me at Alderson, I took him home, he spent one night with me and then got to spend Wednesday through Sunday with Sue (I was out of town during that time). Sunday we picked him up from Sue's house and transferred him to Marcie and Frankie's house (across the street from me). CAMDEN was a champ. He handled all the switching around with very little stress. Today was the first real chance I got to work with him. He and I went down to meet up with Alex and Kathy at Touchstone Therapy. Alex did his physical therapy with CAMDEN cheering him on all the way. It was a great visit. CAMDEN greeted all the kids and parents coming in as well as all the physical therapists. Alex was ecstatic to hold CAMDEN's leash while in his walker. CAMDEN learned how to move around and with the walker so he didn't get his toes run over (wow, can Alex push himself in that walker!-I almost got my toes run over!) After therapy, Kathy, Alex, CAMDEN and I went out to lunch at Subway. CAMDEN had worked hard in therapy and was quite happy to take a nap under the table on the cool tile while we ate and visited.
Thanks, Kathy and Alex for a great visit! CAMDEN and I couldn't have spent the morning any better. Alex's grin can light up a room and he was grinning A LOT with CAMDEN!
