Shopping and Wine Tasting

Not much better than shopping and wine tasting all in the same day! In the morning we drove up to Napa to go to a Premium Outlet shopping center. We were with a big group from the dorm and so we had a great time-4th of July, so lots of great sales going on! After shopping for 2 1/2 to 3 hours we were famished and stopped for lunch at a great little cafe called the Firewood Grill. They had excellent wood fired pizzas, pastas and salads. It reminded me of a pizza/pasta-stye Panera Bread. After lunch we made our leisurely way back through Sonoma county, stopping at a couple wineries. It was an absolutely gorgeous day-blue sky, warm (but not too hot), acres and acres of grape plants all lined in perfect symmetrical rows below beautiful brown and green mountains. Ahhh-wine country!
