Beach Pictures

Kyria and I with the dogs. By this point, they had been to romp in the waves several times but were still in denial about needing a break. I'm certain they were totally put out with us for stopping them to take the picture.

Chrissy longing for waves. She had no hesitation or fear what so ever of diving head first into the breakers and swimming with the waves.
Chrissy-still longing for the waves-any break in the swimming/playing action was unacceptable to her! Yes, I do have a jacket on. When we arrived at the beach-maybe around 10:30 it was downright cold and windy. Friends told us that it's always cooler at the beach here. If it's hot in town (it was over 100 degrees in Santa Rosa yesterday) it's at least 10 degrees cooler at the beach.
The beach, with the mountains framing both sides, was really beautiful. Not many people were there when we arrived but by the time we were leaving a few hours later-it was getting quite crowded.
