This beautiful boy, DRAKE is our newest paws4prisons dog. I'll be taking him to Alderson on February 2nd. He is a 6month old yellow lab that is an absolute love. He will melt your heart in a million pieces, as he did Fiona's. As soon as she saw him, she said "Is that MY dog?" I told her his name was DRAKE and that we'd have him for a little while, but that he'd go up to the prison program soon. She seemed fine with that (she's pretty used to it-although she still asks for TAYLOR). She has a hard time saying DRAKE and sometimes it comes out like GREAT or GRAPE. Anyway, it was love at first sight for both of them, DRAKE followed her all around the house and gave her kisses as often as he could (which she loved)!

Just to update everyone one Taylor...Her new family loves her and she seems to be adjusting well. Her name, however, is no longer Taylor. The change a bit of a silly story...apparently when her foster family needed to go out of town they gave Taylor to another family to watch. That family changed her name to Mandy (I think) and when her foster family got her back they didn't like Mandy so they changed it to Abbie. So Taylor's new family did not want to cause any more confusion so they have officially named her Abbie Taylor.
